ShipMsg currently uses only cookies and similar storage required for authentication, security, and requested service functions.

Essential cookies
We use secure, first-party session and continuation cookies to sign users in, maintain an authenticated session, preserve an authentication journey, apply security controls, and prevent request forgery. These cookies are necessary to provide the requested service.

Both cookies are first-party, Secure, HttpOnly, SameSite=Lax and restricted to the host path. They are not available to advertising scripts.
Analytics and advertising
ShipMsg does not currently place advertising cookies or optional cross-site analytics cookies. If that changes, we will update this policy and obtain consent where required before enabling non-essential cookies.
Connected-provider cookies
If an authorized user deliberately launches a provider-controlled sign-in or Embedded Signup window, that provider may use its own cookies under its notice. Those cookies are set on the provider's domain and are not ShipMsg advertising cookies. Closing the provider flow does not remove cookies already stored by that provider.
Controls
Browser controls can remove or block cookies, but blocking essential cookies will prevent sign-in and other secured functions. Privacy choices made in a browser do not replace a customer's messaging opt-out, which must be sent to the business that contacted you.
